Gold is the main focus as their name would suggest, but the red "swoosh" and black soles perfectly offset the gold's glitz. You see three colors on these shoes (besides the speckles on the shoes' black soles). When I buy a shoe, I want to be able to see the shoe and person donning their appealing features, and this shoe makes that possible. Too many colors creates too many different thoughts, and that clouds the vision of the shoe itself. I don't like shoes that have a million things going on. Durant didn't make a groundbreaking, trendsetting creation, but he did unveil an efficient design. In terms of design, pretty much everything has been done, and that remains true here. ![]() Now prepare to gasp at his beautiful new set of kicks. We are used to marveling at Durant's scoring repertoire. They're also about the name attached to their creation. Sneakers aren't just about the tangible aspects of the shoe in today's world. Outside of LeBron James, there is no bigger star in professional basketball than Durant, and that fact alone will force everyone you walk by to shriek with excitement when they see your feet. The red Nike "swoosh" emblazoned on the shoes' wraparound strap is an unexpected complement to the shoes' glamorously gold scheme. As far as color schemes go, Durant's shoes are odd, but he somehow makes it work.
